Privacy notice

1. Who we are

Jabal Ebal for Management Solutions and Consulting (EBAL; in Arabic شركة جبل عيبال للاستشارات الإدارية) is a company registered in Jordan with the Companies Control Department, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, and based in Amman. 2. What this notice covers

This notice covers ebalconsulting.org in English and Arabic, the problem check, our contact, quote and booking forms, and the emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you send us. When a client hires us to handle personal data on its behalf, such as survey or beneficiary records, the contract with that client sets out how we handle that data.

3. What we collect and why

All forms also record the date, time and version of the consent you gave.

We don't ask for sensitive data, such as health details, religion, ethnic origin, political opinions or criminal records. Please don't send it, and please don't send personal details of beneficiaries, staff or anyone else. We don't sell your data, add you to a mailing list or use it for advertising.

4. Your consent

We ask for your consent before we collect your details, using a box you tick on each form. The box is never ticked in advance. We record the date and time you ticked it and the version of the text you agreed to. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@ebalconsulting.org. We then stop using your data, unless the law requires us to keep it. If we want to use your data for a new purpose, we ask you first.

5. Who sees your data

EBAL's team only. We also use service providers that run our systems and handle data only on our instructions: Microsoft (Microsoft 365: email); our website hosting provider, GitHub (GitHub Pages); and Web3Forms, the service that delivers website form submissions to our inbox. If your work needs site supervision where licensing requires it, we work with our licensed engineering partner, and we ask you before we share any of your information with them. We share data with Jordanian authorities only when the law requires it.

6. Data stored outside Jordan

Microsoft 365, GitHub and Web3Forms may store data in data centres outside Jordan, including in the United States. Jordanian law allows personal data to leave Jordan only where the receiving country or organisation protects it at least as well as Jordanian law does, or where an exception in the law applies. We use these providers on that basis.

7. How long we keep it

We keep problem check answers, form details, booking details and messages for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless they become part of a contract. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs for the period set by its privacy statement. Web3Forms keeps a copy of each form message for 30 days, then deletes it.

8. How we protect it

Only EBAL's team can open the inbox and files that hold your data. The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The problem check sends nothing until you press Send, and our forms carry no tracking. If a breach of your data could cause you serious harm, we tell you within 24 hours of finding it, with what happened and what we are doing about it. We also report it to the personal data protection authority within 72 hours, as the law requires.

9. Your rights

To use any of these rights, email info@ebalconsulting.org with "Data request" in the subject and tell us what you'd like. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We reply within 24 hours. Using your rights is free and does not affect any service or contract you have with us.

10. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we handled your data or your request, tell us at info@ebalconsulting.org and we'll look into it.

11. Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use cookies for analytics or advertising, and it doesn't track you across other sites. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so loading a page doesn't contact Google Fonts or any other font service. The problem check keeps your answers in your browser while you complete it, so the Back button works, and sends nothing to EBAL until you press Send. If we add website analytics later, we'll update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

12. Children

Our services are for organisations and companies. This site isn't aimed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

13. Changes to this notice

We update this notice when our services or the law change, and we change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you've already given us, we'll email you and ask for your consent again where needed. This notice is published in English and Arabic. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
